VP U Henry Van Thio opens new church hall in Haka

 

A new hall at the United Pentecostal Church (UPC) in Haka, Chin State was inaugurated with Vice President U Henry Van Thio yesterday morning.


Rev Dr Ral Bual gave the opening prayers and the Vice President cut the ceremonial ribbons to the new hall with Chin State Chief Minister U Salai Lian Luai and State Security and Border Affairs Minister Colonel Han Win Aung.


The Vice President delivered a gratitude speech and UPC Chair Rev Van Tiam handed over certificates of honour to Colonel Han Win Aung and the construction engineer. The new VP Henry Van Thio hall was constructed with a budget of K40million allocated by the Chin State Development Administration office in 2019-2020FY. Construction began in July and completed near the end of October. The hall is two-storey and measures 65 by 30 feet and is 21 feet high.
